The prettiest antique Victorian c1880 15ct rose gold butterfly, bug, insect piece (formerly a brooch), set with creamy pearls and the palest pink coral. I have coupled with antique 9ct rose gold fancy watch and locket chain combination, together with T bar and a highly collectable Victorian Acorn charm.
The first thing that attracted me to this pretty piece was the beautiful muted antique colour palette, which reminded me of ice cream (how my mind works lol). The rich golden 15ct gold of the piece being the wafter with the pale creamy pearls and palest of pink coral being the ice cream or sorbet. The head is set with a tiny emerald.
Keeping this precious piece company is an exquisite, valuable and highly collectbable 'Acorn' charm, which I believe to be crafted from either wood or perhaps nut and coloured black, the lid/cap of the acorn richly coloured and texturised 9ct (or perhaps higher) gold. The acorn has been part of my personal collection for some years now, but I wanted to choose something extra special to compliment and accompany the butterfly and I just adore the colour pallette of black, cream and pink - so ...... Just had to be :)
Of course no watch chain would really be complete without a T bar and Albert swivel fastener. Which this gorgeous link fancy watch chain piece is graced with.
An eclectic collectors item (such pieces are becoming more and more difficult to source). Each lovely antique element contributes towards creating an attractive, rare and desirable piece of jewellery.
A beautiful and rather special forever heirloom jewellery piece to cherish,
