This pretty and elegant forever heirloom jewellery piece has been created using 9ct gold antique guard chain with belcher link.

Sitting centrally on this framework of 9ct gold chain is a beautiful antique Edwardian 15ct gold, seed pearl and turquoise wreath piece (previously a brooch) c1890s-1910s - Art Nouveau. The piece has great detail with flower/floral detailing around the circle, looking much like 'forget-me-nots' each petal has wonderful textural detailing to its surface; each set with a turquoise or pearl. Very pretty!
From the bottom of the piece I have suspended a coordinating chain drop, which from which is suspended an antique 9ct gold T Bar (sourced from an antique watch chain). This grounds the whole scenario perfectly (plus, I LOVE a T bar :)
The necklace fastens to the back of the neck and has the added advantage of being able to be worn at 2 different fastening position (see below).
An eclectic collectors item (such pieces are becoming more and more difficult to source). Absolutely stunning when worn. Wear alone or layered with any of my other jewellery delights - wear 'smuggly'.
