This precious necklace has been created using eclectic silver and 9ct gold antique and vintage elements. With the blending of complimenting antique/vintage silver chains.
The chains used are a fusion of silver fancy double and single curb link. The chain 'drop' that hangs centrally from the centre jump ring is a section of antique French silver chain with pretty decorative links.
The chains are coupled with interesting charms and curios; the trophy piece being a rare and collectable antique silver, sweetheart 'crescent moon' piece (formerly a brooch), heavily embellished with a floral design, which has 9ct rose and yellow gold Forget Me Not flower and leaf detailing; as well as paste set floral assets. A really scrumptious combination with beautifully crafted open work to the depth of the sides of the piece (see close up photo in gallery). There is some dark patina to some of the paste stones of the flowers, which adds character and individuality to the piece.
The crescent moon brooch is antique Victorian sweetheart brooch, which would have probably been given as a honeymoon/wedding gift from a beloved.
Keeping the crescent moon company is a pretty Victorian brass and paste heart charm, with twinkling paste stones to compliment the stones of the crescent.
Centrally there is an antique French silver fancy link chain drop, the finial being a 9ct gold T bar.
