'Mabel'
 
This precious necklace has been created using an eclectic fusion of antique and vintage silver elements, including an original collectors silver antique Albertina watch chain charm tassel with little trinkets and treasures that have been collected by 'Mabel' in bygone years.
 
The charm tassel is quite extraordinary, being completely original (I did not put these charms together), obviously cherished and sentimental to its original owner.  Each 'foxtail' strand of the tassel has a trinket or trinket cluster attached.  Two of the chains have deep blue Lapis beadwork along their length. 
 
The chains are held together at the top with a darling engraved heart detail and clipped onto the centre ring of the necklace by way of the original Albert swivel fastener.  I have also added to the centre ring a pretty, light and delicate open work vintage silver set with marcasites, moth/butterfly piece.  Adding even more individuality and interest to the combination of elements. 
 
The neck chain is a fusion of a couple of different link chains, one being a Victorian silver multi banded belcher style link; the links being graduated in size, giving that extra quirk.   To the back of the neck is a short section of vintage silver belcher link chain which flows interestingly along with the design.

The necklace fastens centrally to the front, by way of an Albert swivel fastener.
 
A really pretty and unusual combination with beautifully crafted and patinad antique elements, which of course adds to the charm and character of the necklace.
