'Little Wren'

This precious necklace has been created using an eclectic fusion antique and vintage silver elements, including silver antique Albert watch chain and vintage silver belcher link and fancy barley twist link chains, coupled with antique, vintage and pre-loved charms and curios.

These chains and curios are highly sought after, prized and collectable.

Taking centre stage of this unique necklace is a beautiful antique silver picture locket, within which is a piece of silk which has on it an intricately hand painted little bird 'Wren', initialled 'AM'.  The illustration can be seen to both sides of the pendant.  The silk is encased within a silver and glass/perspex frame with pretty silver wire framework detail surrounding.

Also from the centre ring hang 2 short lengths of silver 'trace' chain from which a finely detailed silver feather is suspended (please note that the feather is modern and not antique) and from the longest drop a beautiful Victorian Albertina tassel finiale, sourced from an Albertina watch chain.

The necklace fastens centrally to the front, by way of an Albert swivel fastener.

A really pretty and unusual combination with beautifully crafted and patinad antique elements, which of course adds to the charm and character of the necklace.
