This beautiful antique Victorian/Edwardian 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using an antique 15ct gold and seed pearl swallow (formerly a brooch). 
 
I have coupled this beautiful ethereal piece with a beautiful vintage 9ct gold chain, having interesting intricate and textural entwined links.  So very pretty! 
 
The swallow itself is intricate in design and detail as you would expect from jewellery of this period.  Crafted in 15ct gold and delicately set with pretty seed pearls both adorning the birds wings, head and body.  Attached to the underside is a delicate chain drop with THE most handsome and rare T Bar.  This T bar would have orignally adorned the most splendid of gentlemens watch chain and is a rare and valuable find indeed.  Chunky in size and substance with delightful etched detail along the bar and chubby end finials and centre section.
 
The necklace fastens by way of an Albert swivel fastener.
 
Swallows were a favourite of the Victorians/Edwardians given as a love token to a sweetheart to signify returning to them.
