This pretty cool and unique antique and vintage element 9ct gold 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using a beautifully carved shell in a pretty, bold and beautiful 'Rose' floral design (previously a brooch).  
 
I have coupled this stunning piece with a section of beautiful Victorian 9ct gold 'guard' watch chain, each links have gentle faceting to them, these facets catch the light prettily. 
 
The central chain drop, again, is a section of guard chain, this time with a subtly different  fancy link (sometimes referred to as cat's tooth, or tulip link), from the centre ring leading down to a gorgeous antique 9ct gold T Bar (sourced from an antique watch chain).  The T bar acts as a finial and ground the whole design perfectly.
 
This piece is a one of a limited new 'Cameo' collection I am working on and am rather excited about. The design elevating these brooches to another level, allowing them to be worn around the neck, bold and beautifully, alone as a standout piece or alternatively layered with other longer or shorter forever heirloom jewellery pieces, for a unique and super cool look. 
 
The necklace fastens at the back of neck position, by way of a bolt ring fastener.
