A stunning antique watch chain 'fine' jewellery piece.  The bracelet is substantial in size and would have originally been a gentleman's pocket watch chain (either a single Albert or one half of a double Albert).  The more precious the metal (ie gold rather than silver), and the more intricate and fancy the design often indicated the affluence of its owner.
 
Created in 9ct gold and affording that gorgeous gentle rosey gold patina, that can only be found in antique jewellery; the chain has been expertly crafted with faceted links connecting intricately detailed deep and interestingly shaped links boasting desirable and tres beautiful floral engraving and pierced star detail - totally delicious!  
 
I have coupled this beautiful chain with an antique Fob piece with 3 D skull detail (rare find), the eyes of the skull are set with pretty ruby stones.  A true rare and collectible 'memento mori' piece. 
 
The bracelet fastens by way of its original Albert fastener.
