'The Butterfly Effect'
 
This stunning antique and vintage silver 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using antique Victorian along with vintage silver elements.
 
Setting the stage is a stunning fusion of fancy silver antique Albertina watch chain, vintage silver flat faceted rope chain and double linked belcher link chain, along with other fancy chain drops.  The most decorative chain being the sought after, collectable and desirable Victorian Albertina watch chain.  This link is a visual feast and therefore  I have used it at the foremost part of the design allowing for the full drama and visual effect.  Echoing nicely the delicate rope strands of the Albertina chain; I have incorporated a length of vintage silver rope chain, with facet detail, this then blends down to a section of vintage silver, beautifully fluid double link belcher chain.  The slightly brighter silver of the vintage rope chain picks up the higher polished silver elements of the decorative finials and engraved centre slide of Albertina watch chain, balancing the design perfectly.  Additionally, on the opposite side to the Albertina watch chain I have added an antique (dated 1875) silver 3D coin.  Such coins were very popular additions to the trinkets hanging on a gentlemen's watch chain and this one was the original coin that was coupled with the Albertina chain used in this design.
 
The chain fastens centrally by way of the original Albert swivel fastener (dog clip), although this necklace is long enough to just slip over ones head. 
 
From the bottom centre ring are three chain drops.  Each chain drop suspends a delicious delight, as follows:
 
Antique silver ornate Albertina tassel.
Beautiful Victorian silver and paste butterfly piece (previously a brooch)
Super cool vintage silver skull charm.
 
All of these elements have a wonderful patina that only time can provide, being both desirable and collectable.
