This jaw droppingly beautiful, collectible antique jewellery piece has been created using a bold and beautifully crafted Victorian 15ct gold and navy blue enamel locket. 
 
The locket is set with a pretty split pearl which sits in the centre of a gorgeous deep navy blue enamelled starburst/ star design.  The whole of the locket both front and back has been artfully lavished with intricate engraving and scrolling in a beautiful floral and leaf design; covering the entire locket - just so beautiful. The gentle rosy gold patina is of course just as scrumptious.
 
The locket is in excellent antique condition and closes securely.  Inside all the frames and lens are in place with black velvet inserts.
 
I have set the stage for this stunning locket with a lovely chunky vintage 9ct gold rope chain.  I think the textural nature of the rope chain links compliment the textural design of the heavily engraved antique locket just perfectly. 
 
This locket is a collectors item, a little piece of exquisite Victorian history; which sits perfectly in modern day as an eclectic, striking and conversational piece of adornment.  A very special piece which can be worn alone or layered up with any of my other long necklaces to give full impact and drama. alone or layered up with other antique and vintage collectables, you just can't go wrong with it :)
