This beautiful unique 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using an extremely pretty and detailed antique Victorian silver horseshoe piece, with fancy open work to the sides (formerly a brooch), set with tiny seed pearls and pretty coral cabochons.  The silver is a marvellous antique patina, in keeping with its age and character.  The piece is beautifully hallmarked silver to the reverse side.
 
I have set this gorgeous horseshoe on a vintage 9ct gold chain with close coupled belcher style links, which compliments the horseshoe perfectly and elevates its status. 
 
The necklace fastens to the back of the neck by way of a lobster clasp and has the added advantage of there being 2 different fixing rings, thus enabling the necklace to be worn at two different lengths. 
 
Classically cool forever heirloom piece.

Wear alone or layered with any other of my longer necklaces.
