This beautiful vintage 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using a blended mixture of chunky silver antique watch chains, one smooth curb link and the other a pretty fancy Etruscan link. Centrally, the chains are adorned by a large and rather handsome swallow piece and a vintage charm.
The bold and stunning marcasite embellished silver swooping swallow piece is of a good and heavy size. The marcasites twinkle in the dark patina of the feathers and the bird has red paste or garnet eyes. In its beak dangles a pearl.
To the side hang 2 pretty engraved vintage heart charms; at staggered lengths. The hearts add interest to the collar bone area.
Centrally a longer length piece of chains drops down and has a vintage charm attached, being an envelope (love letter), which is silver with gold vermeil (slightly worn). The envelope is romantically engraved 'To My Darling'.
