This beautiful unique antique Victorian 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using a fusion of antique and new (the chain) silver elements.

I have coupled this special piece (previously a brooch), with a nice simple belcher link chain (new).  The plaque is  exquisitely the outer edge having ball detail and the facing side engraved Forget Me Not flowers decorate the frame to which sits centrally a beautiful and carefully painted in enamel Portrait of a beloved 'Jack Russell' pet dog.

Surely this must have been the most beloved and dear little dog to its owner.

I wonder I wonder as I worked away on this precious Victorian mourning piece. What personality and life did this little soul have. Dearly loved without a doubt. We will forget you not little one.

I have suspended a short length of chain with an antique T Bar drop.  The beautiful plaque sitting centrally within the design.

To the reserve side of the piece there is a cut out circle where there would have once been a glass for perhaps a snip of hair or other photo to sit behind.  Sadly this is missing.  I have slipped one of my Logo pictures in the back instead.

Approximate Measurements:

Neck Section: 17 inches

Drop:  3.8cm

Plaque:  4.7cm

T Bar: 4cm

Sometimes there may be a little 'scarring' to the reverse where the piece was once a brooch in a previous life. However, this does not detract from the beauty and individuality of the item, but rather tells a story...

This is a quirky one-of-a-kind heirloom piece, bringing the wearer an item of jewellery as exclusive and individual as them. The perfect keepsake or gift to celebrate life's milestone occasions or just life!
