This wonderfully sentimental 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using a beautifully detailed silver vintage Art Deco swooping swallow piece.  There is fine detailing to the bird and twinkling marcasite accents to the wings. 
Suspended from the beak is a chain drop from which is suspended a pretty vintage silver filigree work heart with central turquoise stone.
 
I have set the stage for this necklace on a backdrop of 'new' belcher link chain.

The necklace fastens to the back of the neck by way of a bolt ring fastener.  The necklace has the added option of being able to fasten on two different rings.

Where a piece has been converted from a brooch, there may sometimes be a little 'scarring' from where the original pin and hinge once lived.  This is often the case with brooch conversion pieces and does not spoil their beauty or enjoyment.
