'Guardian Angel'
 
This pretty and unique vintage 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using a fusion of antique and vintage silver elements with Mother of Pearl detailing.
 
Setting the stage for these charms and curios are pretty antique and vintage silver chains, including a Victorian watch chain with desirable graduated link detail together with original Albert swivel fastener.  Also pretty antique/deco silver rope style chain with rock crystal bead detail, along with a length of super smooth and fluid vintage chain.  These all make for an unusual and eclectic backdrop to the beautiful charms and curios that adorn. 
 
Close coupled from the centre ring is a vintage silver framed Mother of Pearl (MoP) pendant with prettily carved Raphael style angel.  The back of the piece is open with the Mother of Pearl being visible.  Such designs usually signify a 'Guardian' angel. 
 
Also coupled to the centre ring are two chain drops.  One with a super cool and chunky vintage silver skull charm.  The longest chain drop having a pretty and petite Victorian Albertina tassel (would have originally sat as a pocket watch chain adornment).  The tassel has lovely engraving detail to the top and all the tassel beads are in place; adding the perfect finial to the design. 
 
This piece incorporates rare and collectable elements.  The design has an element of contradiction, which is unique with just the perfect dash of quirk.
 
The chain can be fastened in two different places, centrally to the front or to the side of neck positons, as I have incorporated 2 Albert swivel fasteners along the neck section of this design.
