This beautiful vintage silver and 9ct gold 'fine' jewellery piece has been created using a former Victorian sweetheart brooch with a darling little 'songbird' sitting on a branch' - SO dainty and sweet!

The piece has some lovely Victorian hallmarking to the reverse.

I have set the piece on a 'new' sterling silver chain to compliment the piece.

Wear alone or awesome layered with any of my other charm necklaces. Wear for love and romance!

Approximate Measurements:
Necklace length: 18 inches
Centre Piece: 3.8cm

Where an item has been a brooch in a previous life and has been converted. There may sometimes be some evidence of a little ‘scarring' on the reverse side, where once lived the pin and hinge. This does not detract from its beauty or wearability in any way and in my opinion tells its story thus adding to the intriguing history of the said piece.

This is a quirky one-of-a-kind heirloom piece, bringing the wearer an item of jewellery as exclusive and individual as them. The perfect keepsake or gift to celebrate life's milestone occasions or just life!
